I'm looking forward to Principles and Psych this quarter because the teachers so nice and teach at a good even pace. My Psych teacher is a feminist (she hasn't went out and said this but from the material we're going to be covering you can tell she is) which is awesome and I agree with and my teacher for Principles and 3D has been in animation for 44 years and isn't a complete asshole about it. Now, most of you who know me personally that this is a blessing compared to how Mrs. Love was the last two quarters because she thought she was so great because she was a feminist (more like a feminazi) and has been drawing charicature, among other things, for twenty odd years...Yeah...Welp, I still have Pionati this quarter so that's what I'm doing until September.
Today I'm going to South Side with Zach (I don't know if anybody else is tagging along) and I'm gonna get my hair bobbed. He'll probably want to take pictures of our new hairdos so expect to see that soon.
As for Skippy stuff, I've been drawing more things to post and the next things you're probably going to see are interior shots of Skippy's room and home. I have to draw and color pictures of the other main characters but when I do that I might as well do a model sheet of each character or a height chart of all of them standing together in the same shot. Which do you think would be better?
Vacation was fun. The beach was beautiful and when it did rain it only happened during the night or the early morning so the days were sunny. Zach was very sweet with me and we talked about the future, like moving to New York City once we graduate and even better things like where we're gonna settle down, maybe have a couple of dogs or some kids. I'd want to have some dogs first. I don't have a lot experience with them but they think I'm alright and I can stand them if they aren't really loud and annoying. But it would be my own child so I'd probably love them even they were really loud and annoying...but I hate stupid kids...Tough stuff, guys. Thankfully, nobody was horrendously sick! (I got a tummy ache the one night because I ate too much and Britt and Steven always get tummy aches.) We got to eat a very nice restaurant on our day trip to Roanoke Island (We went to the North Carolina Aquarium and I swear it was so much bigger when I went in the seventh grade!) and I had some really awesome pork chops and sweet potatoes. Mmm, I want some sweet potatoes right now...I picked up plenty of tourist literature
Fuck, I'm rambling really badly. I'll probably do another journal soon when I put up more Skippy stuff or just fun art stuff in general. There's another thing I came up wtih on vacation and I might put that up on here in case anybody interested.
Well, I'm gonna go make eggs or pancakes or something since I'm hungry and it's 10:25. See you all soon!
Love
Cubby

Hegel's paradox: "Man learns from history that man learns nothing from history."

You're not gonna let a lil thing like reality stop you...are ya?

Thinking of you, wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward and realize this wish.
